Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. From the airport, you will be transferred to your midrange accommodation where you can check-in and relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the vibrant town of Arusha or visit a local market, immersing yourself in the local culture and atmosphere.

After breakfast, your adventure continues with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and the striking baobab trees that punctuate its landscape. You'll embark on a full-day game drive through the park's diverse habitats, offering a chance to encounter a variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, lions, and numerous bird species. Tarangire’s rich ecosystem and dramatic scenery provide an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. As the day winds down, you'll head to your comfortable midrange lodge or camp, located either inside the park or nearby, where you can relax and take in the memories of the day.

After a hearty breakfast, your full-day game drive in the central Serengeti begins at 8:00 AM. Today, you'll explore the renowned Seronera region—celebrated as one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Serengeti National Park. This iconic park is famous for its thriving populations of lions and leopards, and Seronera stands out for its abundance of year-round wildlife, thanks to the Seronera River, a vital water source that draws numerous species to the area.

Even outside the Great Migration season, the Seronera region promises exceptional wildlife sightings. It’s particularly known for its resident lion prides, whose interactions and territorial dynamics make for fascinating game viewing throughout the year. With a picnic lunch enjoyed amidst the wilderness, you’ll continue your adventure through the afternoon, soaking in the diverse landscapes and wildlife encounters.

The day wraps up around 5:00 PM as you return to your lodge or camp for a well-deserved dinner and a restful overnight stay.

On the final day of your safari, you’ll rise early for an unforgettable adventure into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this breathtaking volcanic caldera is often called "Africa's Garden of Eden" for its stunning beauty and exceptional concentration of wildlife. The crater offers one of the best opportunities to see the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—all in one place. You’ll spend the day exploring the crater floor, watching predators in action, and admiring the rich diversity of animals and landscapes. A scenic picnic lunch inside the crater provides the perfect moment to relax and take in the majestic surroundings. In the afternoon, you'll ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home or onward travel, marking the end of your extraordinary Tanzanian safari experience.
