Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. From the airport, you will be transferred to your midrange accommodation where you can check-in and relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the vibrant town of Arusha or visit a local market, immersing yourself in the local culture and atmosphere.
Following breakfast, your journey continues to Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees that dot the landscape. During your full-day game drive, you will have the opportunity to witness the incredible wildlife that calls Tarangire home, including elephants, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, and an array of bird species. The park's unique ecosystem and diverse habitats make it a captivating destination for any nature enthusiast. In the evening, you will retreat to your midrange accommodation either inside or near Tarangire National Park, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's experiences.
Starting your full day game drive by 8 AM after a filling breakfast, you will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti - known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. During the off season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game viewing experience all year round. Along with a picnic lunch during the full day game drive, the day will come to a close by around 5PM. The long day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.
On the final day of your safari, you will set out early in the morning to explore the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a breathtaking caldera that houses an incredible concentration of wildlife. Often referred to as the "Africa's Garden of Eden," the Ngorongoro Crater provides an excellent chance to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) in one location. Your day will be spent exploring the crater floor, observing predators on the prowl, and marveling at the diversity of animals and landscapes. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated spot within the crater, allowing you to soak in the awe-inspiring surroundings. After an unforgettable day, you will ascend the crater and commence your journey back to Arusha. From there, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight or to your next destination, concluding your remarkable Tanzanian safari adventure
