SAFARI ITINERARY

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Arusha, Tanzania, you'll be greeted by your safari guide. From there, you'll be transferred to your accommodation to rest after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore Arusha or visit a nearby cultural center to get a glimpse of the local traditions and customs.

After breakfast, the safari adventure begins as you depart for Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees that dot the landscape. Throughout the day, you'll enjoy thrilling game drives, giving you the opportunity to witness various wildlife species in their natural habitat.

Today, you'll bid farewell to Tarangire and set off for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, an awe-inspiring event where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and other herbivores undertake a treacherous journey in search of fresh grazing lands. Depending on the time of year, you might witness different stages of the migration. The game drive en route to your accommodation will already provide you with exciting wildlife encounters.

Your day will be dedicated to exploring the central or southern regions of the Serengeti, where the wildebeest migration may be taking place depending on the time of year. This is the opportunity of a lifetime to witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras in their epic migration, as well as predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards who follow the herds in search of easy prey.

Continuing your journey through the Serengeti, today you'll head either to the western or northern regions, depending on the movement of the herds. The western Serengeti is famous for its dramatic river crossings, where wildebeests bravely navigate crocodile-infested waters during their migration. On the other hand, the northern Serengeti is known for its abundance of big cats and offers a chance to witness thrilling predator-prey interactions.

Leaving the Serengeti behind, you'll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The highlight of this area is undoubtedly the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast caldera teeming with wildlife. Descend into the crater for a game drive, and you'll be treated to a breathtaking spectacle of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros).

On your final day, you'll enjoy a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, making the most of your last opportunity to spot wildlife in this natural wonder. After lunch, it's time to say goodbye to the wilderness as you head back to Arusha. In Arusha, you'll have access to a day room to freshen up and relax before your departure. Finally, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of an extraordinary Tanzanian safari experience.
