Itinerary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, and completing immigration formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by our dedicated safari guide at the arrivals exit. You will then receive a detailed briefing about your journey before being transferred to your hotel for check-in and time at leisure.

Pickup Time: 06:00AM. Early breakfast at the hotel, and transfer to Entebbe Airport to catch your flight to Kasese. Upon arrival, transfer by road to Kibale Forest.  

Once at Kibale, immerse yourself in the Bigodi Community experience—a vibrant cultural encounter where you can: Participate in a traditional coffee experience, sample banana beer and local spirits, explore unique arts and crafts, enjoy cultural songs and dances, learn about the indigenous herbs. (Note: This activity is subject to change). Following your cultural experience, savor a traditional lunch at Tinka’s Homestead.

Afternoon Adventure: Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking –After a briefing at 02:00PM, embark at 02:30PM on an exhilarating trek through the lush Kibale rainforest. Follow winding trails as you track the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, witnessing them swing gracefully through the canopy, forage for fruits, and engage in their playful social interactions. The forest itself is a living tapestry of sights and sounds — from the melodic calls of exotic birds to fleeting glimpses of other elusive wildlife hidden among the trees. Accompanied by an expert, friendly ranger, you will gain fascinating insights into chimpanzee behaviour, the intricate forest ecosystem, and the vital conservation efforts that protect these remarkable primates. Be sure to carry essentials such as sturdy hiking boots, long trousers, a face mask, insect repellent, gloves, and drinking water to ensure a comfortable and memorable adventure. 

After the chimp trek, transfer to the lodge for check-in and enjoy dinner at your leisure.

The day’s main Activity: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking Experience – After completing park formalities, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to track the endangered mountain gorillas. Journey through lush, dense jungle and rugged terrain, following fresh trails guided by expert trackers, until you come face-to-face with a magnificent gorilla family, including the awe-inspiring silverback. Spend 1–2 unforgettable hours observing, photographing, and absorbing the behaviours of these gentle giants in their pristine natural habitat. Every moment is a breathtaking encounter with one of the world’s most iconic and endangered species, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime. Along the way, your ranger guide will choose a safe spot for a picnic lunch before you continue the trek or return to the lodge. Be prepared for the wild with sturdy hiking boots, long trousers, gloves, long-sleeved clothing, a face mask, insect repellent, and drinking of water.
