Upon arrival at Entebbe Int. Airport, you will be welcomed by our safari guide at the arrivals waiting area. He will assist with your luggage before accompanying you on a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, or, depending on your arrival time, opt for an enriching Entebbe Eco Tour.

Planned activity: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking Experience – Embark on an extraordinary journey into the mystical depths of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas. Guided by an expert ranger and skilled trackers, you will follow winding, mist-veiled trails through an ancient jungle alive with birdsong, rustling leaves, and the earthy fragrance of the forest floor. The anticipation builds with every step until, at last, you come face-to-face with a gorilla family in their natural sanctuary. Spend 1 to 2 awe-inspiring hours observing and photographing these gentle giants—an intimate, transformative experience that transcends a simple trek and immerses you in one of the planet’s most remarkable ecosystems. During the trek, your guide will select a serene spot for a picnic lunch before you continue or return to the lodge (subject to change). For your comfort and safety, wear sturdy hiking shoes, long trousers, long-sleeved shirts, gloves, a face mask, and carry insect repellent and water. 

Afterwards, retreat to the lodge to unwind at leisure, before a delightful dinner.

Today’s planned day excursion: “A Day in rural Uganda” at Lake Mutanda – Begin your day with a serene dugout canoe ride across the tranquil waters of Chameleon Bay, as morning mist lifts to reveal breathtaking lake views! On arrival, receive a warm welcome from a local farming family and step into an intimate, hands-on cultural experience. Explore their fields, harvest fresh produce such as potatoes, pumpkins, or seasonal fruits, and join the family in preparing a traditional Ugandan meal, which you will enjoy together for lunch. In the afternoon, take a guided stroll through the village to visit a local school and bustling trading center, gaining a rare insight into daily life in an authentic rural Uganda. This exclusive experience offers a meaningful connection to the land, its people, and their enduring traditions—an unforgettable highlight for discerning travelers!

In the evening, return to your lodge to relax and freshen up, followed by a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
